At this evening of the Millennium Szivarklub, Péter Faragó — alias Carver — brings us the story of the Plasencia family and one of the world's most renowned premium cigar brands, paired with a truly special double cigar tasting.
The Plasencia name has been a benchmark in the world of cigars for more than 150 years. Today the family not only crafts exceptional cigars, but grows a significant share of the world's most respected tobaccos on its own plantations in Nicaragua and Honduras. The Plasencia story is at once one of tradition, passion and knowledge passed down through generations.
During the evening we'll hear first-hand what daily life on a Plasencia tobacco farm is like, how a premium cigar comes to be — from seed to humidor — and what it's like to witness up close the work behind a single perfect cigar.
Péter Faragó won't give a classic lecture: stories, personal experiences, professional behind-the-scenes details and interactive conversations await our guests — exactly as they unfold on a real cigar journey.
Of course the cigars won't stay in the background either: over the course of the evening we'll taste two special Plasencia cigars while getting to know the brand's philosophy, character and what raised Plasencia among the most prestigious cigar makers in the world.
We'll talk about tobacco growing, ageing, the art of blending, family traditions and the small details that turn an excellent cigar into an unforgettable experience.
